Week 8: Christ’s Baptism, Temptations, and Ministry

Goals:

1. What is Theophany?

2. How do we handle temptation?

3. Christ is our Physician.

Notes for the Teacher: The gospel readings will teach the kids how to read the icons – make sure the kids can see the icon while you are reading. Then ask them to tell you as much as they remember while pointing or looking at the icon. This will help to reinforce what they’ve learned and place it into long-term memory.
