This church was built on top of the high priest, Caiaphas\u2019 home, which is where Peter denied knowing Christ 3 times and also where Jesus was interrogated after being arrested. Gallicantu means \u201ccock\u2019s crow,\u201d referring to the rooster crowing after Peter denied Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
